Entry #2. Why Communication Matters
Something I see all the time is how fast things can go wrong just because people don’t communicate. It doesn’t matter if it’s in school, at work, or even with friends—when people don’t say what they mean or leave you guessing, it just makes everything harder. For me, I’d rather someone be straight up, even if it’s not exactly what I want to hear. In group projects, if nobody says what part they’re doing, the whole thing gets messy. At work, when directions aren’t clear, you waste time fixing mistakes that could’ve been avoided. And honestly, it’s the same in relationships—bad communication turns small stuff into big drama real quick. Even movies highlight this. Avatar is a good example where so much of the conflict comes from people not listening or understanding each other. Once the characters start actually communicating and finding ways to connect, the whole story shifts.
