Just Me

Hi, I’m Jenna! Life keeps me pretty busy with school and work, but I honestly don’t mind it. Having things to focus on keeps me motivated, and even when it gets stressful, I push myself because I know it’ll pay off later. I like proving to myself that I can handle a lot and still move forward.

One of my favorite things is hot yoga and pilates. They keep me active and healthy, but they also give me a way to slow down and clear my head. I like how it feels like a mix between working out and taking care of myself mentally. I’m also into photography because it’s a way to capture little details and moments that stand out to me. I’ve always been the type of person who notices things other people might overlook, and photography lets me put that part of me into something creative.

I would say one of my biggest pet peeves is when people don’t communicate. I’d rather someone be upfront with me than leave me stuck guessing. I like honesty, even if it’s not always what I want to hear. Something that makes me unique is how much I notice the small things. It shapes how I look at people and situations. I also try to keep balance in my life—sometimes I’m serious and focused, but other times I just want to chill and not overthink everything.

If you’re curious, here’s a pilates workout video on YouTube that I like.

  1. Jenna, I also love hot pilates and yoga. This past year, I started working out at Hot Works. My favorite class is the hot yoga class. The sauna almost feels like detox in a way. I love how I feel afterwords. People not communicating is also one of my pet peeves. I always feel like problems would be solved much easier if people just express their feelings instead of keeping in.

  2. I have never done Hot Yoga and pilates but sounds interesting. I have been invited to do a class but i have been a little scared, I don’t know what to expect I guess . I have to say how i agree with you on important communication is and is just so undervalued. Honesty is so important and is better to be upfront with anyone instead of keeping them guessing.
